The Logistics People are recruiting aTruck Wash Supervisoron behalf of Tech Wash.Location:Burton LatimerHourly Rate: £14.00 per hourWorking Hours: Various shift patterns across 7 days, working 50 weekly hours. Hours of operation between 06:00 - 22:00.Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Truck Wash Supervisor to join our team. As a Truck Wash Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance ofafleet of trucksand trailers,ensuring they are in optimal condition.You will manage the local team of Truck Wash Operatives to ensure efficient and high-quality truck washing, detailing, andfleet cleaningtasks are carried out in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, andthe ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

• Manage the local team of Truck Wash Operatives
• Perform truck washing and cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and cleaning solutions, ensuring allfleetisthoroughly cleaned and maintained
• Conduct regular inspections of trucks to identify areas requiring additional cleaningorrepairs and report accordingly
• Use the companys app to ensure all reporting requirements are met
• Utilisegantry washers,pressure washers, brushes, and other cleaning tools to remove dirt, grime, and debris from truck exteriors, interiors, and undercarriages
• Clean and sanitise truck cabs, including windows, mirrors, dashboards, and seating areas
• Empty and cleantrailerbeds, removing any waste or foreign objects
• Manage consumables and chemical usage
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organised work area
• Complete the necessary checks relating to health and safety standards and compliance
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, requesting restocking when necessary
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Follow company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality and adhering to quality standards
• Provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns from truck drivers or other personnel

Qualifications:

• Full and valid UK driving license is required
• Ability to drive a HGV vehicle; no license required, but a stanardised competency test for vehicle shunting will be conducted
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a truck washing or automotive cleaning environment
• Knowledge of truck washing techniques, equipment, and cleaning agents
• Ability to operategantry washes,pressure washers, steam cleaners, and other cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Excellent organisational and time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and interact with truck drivers or other personnel
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
