Job Description

A specialist manufacturing company, offering a complete range of services from design through to finished product, are currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter to join their busy mouldshop. This role will play a key part in ensuring production runssmoothly whilst minimising scrap and downtime.Working with machines ranging from 25-440T clamp force, your duties as Setter include -

  • Tool changing and condition setting
  • Processing a wide range of materials
  • Trialling new tools
  • Trouble shooting process issues
To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will -
  • Have experience of working in a plastic injection moulding environment
  • Know how to condition set machines
  • Be able to trouble shoot moulding issues such as flashing, short shots, etc
  • Have knowledge of a range of materials
