We are currently looking for an enthusiastic individual to join us as our Despatch Operative at our Nottingham site. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working a rotating 2-week shift pattern (Week 1 – 12 hour days, Week 2 – 12 hour nights). The company has a UK annual turnover approaching £280 million and employs around 1,000 people at 23 sites across the country.As our Despatch Operativeyour duties and responsibilities will include:- Loading products into appropriate vehicles- Preparing and bagging products ready for despatching- Ensuring products are being despatched to the highest standard and taking samples before distributed- Completing paperwork and general housekeeping as required- Any other ad hoc duties as required by ManagementOur ideal Despatch Operative will have:- The ability to prioritise the workload- Excellent communication skills- A good level of literacy and numeracy- Flexibility with working hours- The ability to work in a small team, and also independently- Previous experience within a similar role (advantageous, although training will be provided where necessary)If you would like to join us as our Despatch Operative, then apply now.
