Job Description

Talent and Performance PartnerThe role of the Talent & Performance Partner will play a big part in successfully driving our people and culture agenda. As part of our People & Culture Team, the role will work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and partners across the business, toensure that the organisation is able to effectively identify, support and retain key talent and to enable a healthy pipeline of succession.Key Accountabilites:

  • Works with the People and Culture Team, HR teams and leaders to fully embed an approach to ongoing performance conversations that our people fully benefit from
  • Able to use data and insight from Performance and Talent to drive organisation-wide insight that help us bridge any talent gaps
  • Brings expertise and experience of talent management processes to support the ongoing evolution of the organisations talent management cycle and activity
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on performance and talent management, bringing latest external insight and thinking into the organisation in a way which aligns with our priorities and plans
  • Drives the evolution of our Talent Management approach, and fully embeds great talent management practice through close partnership with Business Partners, guiding leaders in effective talent conversations. Actively leads Talent Review meetings and drivesaction and measurement from talent reviews within business areas
  • Works in partnership with Business Partners to ensure robust, effective, tailored and focused development plans are in place for senior talent as identified through Talent Reviews
  • Supports the scoping and implementation of development programmes to support key talent
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of programmes and initiatives against agreed measures
  • Collaborates across the People and Culture as well as HR team to ensure dots are joined and initiatives are effectively embedded where there is a connection into wider L&D / Resourcing priorities

  • Performance and talent management expertise - knows the market for talent development solutions and thinking. Strong network of external relationships
  • Expertise in shaping, landing and embedding changes across different stakeholder groups
  • Has the bandwidth to be able to work on multiple projects at the same time - and balance the tensions of hands-on delivery through to senior stakeholder management.
  • Engaging and participant-focused facilitator - responsive to the needs of stakeholders
  • Ability to understand and manipulate performance data in order to drive organisational insight
  • A grounding in Psychology or Human Resources (Degree or post-grad level)
