Charta Recruitment is partnered with a fast-growing, global manufacturer based in the UK who is currently seeking a highly motivated customer service or sales professional that is looking to embed themselves within a people-driven company that prides itselfon developing the future career growth of their employees.This company specializes in delivering Foodservice Labelling products and is at the forefront of bringing solutions to businesses within the Foodservice sector.As a result of growth and incoming legislation, this company has developed a brand new hybrid sales/customer service position to assist customers based in Europe.Reporting to the European Sales Director, you will receive excellent training and direct mentorship to fast-track your sales career within this growing global business.Your Role and Responsibilities:
  • Remote-based, engaging with all contacts through virtual platforms
  • 70% of the role will be B2B sales and customer service focused, liaising with European customers (predominantly French-speaking), generating leads, and reaching out to prospective businesses
  • 30% of the role will be admin focused, assist with entering sales orders, invoices, shipping documents, and performing all steps necessary to the end of the billing process
  • Creating and maintaining customer records with Salesforce & Syspro
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders including customers, logistics/operations, and shipping companies
  • Working closely with EU Sales Director to identify new sales opportunities and strategies
  • Attending 5-6 European trade shows per year, meeting customers, and develop new business relationships
Your Skills and Experience:
  • The ability to communicate fluently in French is essential
  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills
  • 2+ years experience within either customer service or sales positions
  • Must be happy to travel 1-2 times per month to head office (based in Burton-on-Trent) and 5-6 times per year to European locations
  • Previous experience of dealing with European customers is advantageous but not essential
  • Additional language skills in German, Spanish or Portuguese would also be advantageous
