Job Description

FP&A Manager - Burton - £65,000 - 75,000This ones for anyone looking to join a rapidly expanding business in a technical and hands-on role!Macildowie Finance are supporting an industry leading business, based in Burton who are recruiting for a highly technical and capable FP&A Manager.This is a multi-layer role with a technical aspect as well as a commercial element to it.You will be responsible for financial reporting on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis and making sure all data collected is accurate and paints a true picture of the financial position of the business.The commercial element is incorporated into the role through supporting the multi-year plan in place to further the growth of the business and build upon the success they have had in recent years.As the FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for making sure the company is in a position where all future targets/budgets can be met by meticulously analysing the position of the business and highlighting any trends, which may effect this plan for the future.You will report directly to key stakeholders in the business and advise where improvements need to be made in order to grow the business.This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business that is a household name within the industry and will no doubt be going strong for years to come!The role:

  • Leading management accounting team, with a view to develop talent and promote where necessary
  • Oversee the production of financial reports and report directly to key stakeholders within the business
  • Support internal and external auditors in meeting requirements
  • Ensure that the Finance team work to a set standard and eliminate any anomalies and inefficiencies in internal procedures and systems
  • Work on additional projects as they come up and as help is required
The Candidate:
  • Able to work effectively both within a team and on their own
  • Previous line management experience is essential for this role
  • Up to date knowledge on IFRS
  • Experience in group consolidations is beneficial
  • Previous experience undertaking project work is desirable
