Job Description

Digital ExecutiveRole PurposeThis role will be part of our Digital Merchandising team and will be fundamental in executing our brand and marketing plans online within Greene King. The Digital Executive will be responsible for the merchandising and management of content, data and campaignsacross our digital products; websites and booking platforms.The role will be focused on our 1,600+ managed pub business and their respective brands and websites such as Hungry Horse, Chef and Brewer, Farmhouse Inns and Greene King Local Pubs. We operate an agile working policy, 50:50 home and office working and thisrole could be based in either our Burton or Bury officesKey Accountabilities

  • Responsible for merchandising and management of content and data on our websites and booking platforms providing excellent user experiences on our pub and pub brand websites.
  • Support the delivery of the merchandising strategy and plan for digital products and brands
  • Ensuring web content / copy is accurate and up to date via our content management system
  • Ensuring the website, pages and content are following SEO best practice
  • Creating data filters within the CMS to create dynamic web content
  • Administering the digital pub data system which populates the core pub website content
  • Administering our online bookings platform
  • Raising issues and development requests to enhance our digital platforms
  • Collaborate with the Digital Trading & Creative Team to ensure consistent and excellent online experience
  • Work closely with Brand and Marketing teams to understand their plans and needs to translate that into brilliant digital brand experiences
Person Specification

  • Experience managing websites via content management systems; ideally Umbraco (but not essential)
  • Experience planning and executing digital merchandising
  • Experience working on multiple brands or accounts
  • Ideally experience of eCommerce (not essential)
  • Good understanding of SEO, Content and User Experience
  • Ideally experience working within retail or digital business
  • Knowledge of tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimise and HotJar
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
