RG Consultancy are working with a growing logistics company who are looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk to join their office based in Burnley, Lancashire. This role would suit someone who is ambitious and looking to develop in a transactionalfinance role.You will report directly to the companies finance manager but work closely with the whole finance function. This is a very hands-on purchase ledger role, and your duties include but are not limited too; Full end to end purchase ledger (processing invoices, coding and matching invoices) Post payments and cash allocations on the purchase ledger Propose purchase ledger payment runs and agree schedule of payment Reconcile supplier statements Run full month - end procedure on purchase ledgers Maintain accurate manual and computerised records as appropriate Setting up of new supplier accounts and accurately maintain existing account details Reconcile and chase up missing invoices General office/accounts administrationSkills and Abilities: Minimum 2 years finance or purchase ledger Ability to prioritise workload in a high pressured, fast paced environment Competent IT skills Qualified by experience (minimum 5 years) or minimum AAT level 2
