Job Title: Web DeveloperSalary: £22k-£30kLocation: BuntingfordMy client provides event IT solutions to clients running events worldwide. From Wi-Fi, CCTV and Phones to ticketing and EPoS they’re responsible for the infrastructure at sites across Europe, including Brighton Pride, Southampton Boat Show, Netflix and Facebook. Due to rapid growth in its development projects, my client requires a developer with a solid understanding of Javascript to work out of their Buntingford office. Whilst commercial experience is preferred, its not essential, and the role would suit a graduate with proven ability and the right attitude, or someone looking to change fields for a new challenge. They’re a small team of friendly developers, working closely to support both the needs of the business and our clients. Due to the nature of the events industry we have a high turnover of projects throughout the year.You should have experience in the following areas:- Carpentry / plumbing / electrician skills:- Painting, decorating, flooring, plastering, tiling, basic plumbing, basic electrics.- Lock fitting, carpentry, removals, flat pack furniture, general maintenance & repairs.- Dealing with adhoc problems and unforeseeable situations- Planning routine and reactive maintenance- Carrying out property inspections both planned and adhoc- Ensuring properties are well maintained and costs are well controlled- Familiar with local authority licensing requirementsEssential Requirements:HTML 5, CSSJavascript / TypescriptAngularProblem SolvingWritten CommunicationFull UK driving licenseBasic understanding:Node.jsModern Database’s (SQL or NoSQL)GITDesirables:PHPConfidence using Linux CLI (primarily Ubuntu Server)WordpressKnowledge of wired and wireless networking principlesBootstrapCordova / IonicFull driving licenseXcode / Android StudioAWS / GCC / Azure
