Job Description

Job Title: Registered ManagerLocation: Nevetts, Bowling Green Lane, Buntingford, Hertfordshire, SG9 9DF - Click for directionsSalary Range: £42,683 progressing to £45,591pa (depending on experience)Hours: 37 hours per weekContract: 1 Year Fixed TermDue to difficult times regarding Coronavirus, Hertfordshire County Council are re-opening Nevetts care home in Buntingford, in the coming weeks.At Nevetts, we will be caring for people with various illnesses, needing to leave hospital but not ready to return home. Every effort will be put in place to safeguard both staff and residents during this difficult time.   • Experienced RM or Deputy manager in residential and/or nursing or LD
  • Substantial experience leading staff teams in a CQC-regulated service with Good or Outstanding rating
  • Experience of leading a value-led team providing care and/or nursing services in a residential setting
  • Experience of organising staff teams, support staff and building management, including managing a budget required.
  • Experience of staff management including recruitment, supervision and appraisal
    • Skills & Essential Requirements
  • Ability to mobilise and lead a new service
  • Ability to work with a wide range of people including hospital, GP and community health services
  • Ability to work across social care and health to ensure services are safe and meet the needs of residents
  • Ability to maintain compliance with care standards at all times.
    • Essential requirements
  • At least three years as an RM or deputy to an RM in a residential setting
  • Qualification in nursing or social care (NVQ5 or above)
  • Experience of leading a new service or managing a service through significant change
