Job Description

Reed are delighted to be supporting a London based property company to recruit an accomplished property manager, with experience of both residential and commercial portfolios including block management. This role will offer a mix of home working, site visitsand office working. You can expect to be working from home 2 days per week, in the office up to 1 day per week and travelling to property sites (in East London and Hertfordshire) 2 days per week.Duties:

  • Manage the property portfolio of approximately 70 properties
  • Marketing properties to fill vacancies as required
  • Liaise with the accounts department regarding tenants moving in / out
  • Calculate invoicing for service charges or ground rents if required
  • Credit control of tenancies resulting in payments on time from tenants
  • Obtain quotes for insurance renewals, meeting the requirements of the property and making sure that cover is always maintained andquotes for utility suppliers and set up accounts for sites and organise electrical meter readings and oversee utilities atthe properties
  • Manage the diary to ensure that all safety inspections, management visits, tenancy renewals and any other legal requirements are completed on time and ensure safety certificates and all other legal documentation complies with current legislation
Person spec:
  • Driving license and own vehicle
  • Experience with residential and commercial portfolios including block management
  • Good level of property management experience
