Job Description

Lighting Technician - £25,000 - £28,500, plus benefitsThis is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lighting Technician to work for a leading Events Agency based in Hertfordshire. We are looking for candidates with previous lighting installation experience within the events industry.Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company’s show stock of lighting and rigging equipment is maintained to the highest standards
  • Look after the technical kit by PAT testing, making cables and maintaining stock
  • Support shows by prepping kit, un-packing and consolidating supplier equipment,
  • stock management
  • supporting the wider company as required.
  • Design and test lighting systems by drawing and amending schematics, checking equipment lists and advising on best practice or alternative solutions.
  • You will be required to support on site by rigging, de-rigging and operating across various disciplines.
  • Required to lead in suitable on-site scenarios including installation fault finding and operating equipment during the show.
