Job Description

A private healthcare business are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team. Reporting into the Finance director.Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance Department at the facility.
  • Oversee the production of monthly management accounts and management reports for Senio
  • Oversee the accuracy of all accounting ledgers, including general ledger and cashbook transactions, and monthly reconciliations of balance sheet items and bank accounts.
  • Analyze monthly financial performance of the facility and provide explanations on the variations in performance compared to budget and the previous year’s results.
  • Manage the annual budget setting and monitoring process.
  • Provide and interpret financial and non-financial information to various stakeholders
  • Monthly review of departmental Profit and Loss accounts.
  • Be the point of contact for external auditors and support the CFO in fulfilling audit requirements.
  • Provide support to all departmental heads on financial matters including supporting the CFO
  • To provide ad-hoc analysis and support to CFO.
    • Successful candidates will:
  • Have worked in a similar role for atleast 3 years
  • Private Healthcare industry experience will be highly desirable
  • Willing and able to commute to Essex
  • Qualified ACCA/CIMA or QBE
