Laundry OperativeLivingston EH54 9DRSalary £20,800Full Time Fixed Term (6 Month Contract)Immediate Start AvailableWe are looking for a talented individual to join our team as aLaundry Operativesituated at ourLivingstonOperations Centre for phs Besafe, part of phs Groupthe leading Hygiene Services provider in the UK.We need that special someone with experience in either production, manufacturing or with commercial laundry experience. You will be assisting the depot with the day-to-day running of the laundry, ensuring that all phs Besafe products are washed to a high standardand in accordance with phs Group company procedures.In return for your expertise as a Laundry Operative

A day in the life of a Laundry Operative with phs Besafe will involve:
  • Ensuring all items are in-scanned into the IT system and segregated ensuring all wash loads are weighed prior to loading.
  • Manually loading and unloading items into 55kg capacity washing machines and selecting the relevant program. While ensuring all wash production records are updated accordingly. Some items can weight up to and including 20kg.
  • Unload tumble dryers, ensuring all items are clean and dry before moving to the inspection area prior to checking items for damage.
  • Out-scan all items and pack as per customer requirements.
  • Carrying out completeness check on the IT system, print delivery note and load into relevant Drivers cage.
  • Maintaining all laundry equipment on a regular basis in accordance with the maintenance schedule.
The ideal candidate for a Laundry Operative with phs Besafe will have:
  • Previous experience of working in a production environment or commercial laundry environment.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy skills.
