JA1168Production Assembly TechnicianLocationBroxburnSalaryUp to £26K DOEType Permanent - Hours 39/weekOverview:We are currently recruiting for highly motivated Production Assembly Technicians to join our client who are a manufacturer of bespoke industrial products. This is an exciting opportunity for the right people to help drive growth in their manufacturing and operations activities. They are looking for team players who will fit their culture and join the team on the next stage of our journey.You should be a hands-on, practical team player with an eye for detail and high-quality standards.Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Mechanical assembly of ATEX products using hand tools
  • Electrical assembly of ATEX products using hand tools
  • Cable preparation and assembly of ATEX couplers and sockets
  • Electrical safety testing of finished products
  • Functional testing and inspection of products
  • Fault finding, re-work and rectification of electrical and mechanical systems.
Skills & Experience:
  • Some experience in a manufacturing, installation, service, or repair environment.
  • Strong practical skills and experience using hand tools.
  • A strong eye for detail and high standards of workmanship.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and develop.
Summary:Whilst the role may be suited to a more experienced candidate, training would potentially be given for a school leaver with an HNC or HND engineering qualification.This will be a highly rewarding role in a dynamic team with the chance to develop your career as the business grows.
