Job Description

Job Profile for HSEQ Manager- 00253175Bennett and Game are representing a cutting-edge company that specializes in providing advanced solutions for the telecommunications industry. Their expertise extends to both wired and wireless telecommunications, enabling seamless connectivity and reliable communication solutions for businesses and consumers.The successful Health and Safety Manager will be joining an organisation at the forefront of the utilities, telecommunications, and civil engineering sectors. They are committed to delivering high-quality services and projects while ensuring the utmost safetyand well-being of their employees, subcontractors, and the communities they serve. It is envisaged that the successful HSEQ Manager will have previous experience within utilities, telecommunications or civil engineering.Package:

  • Salary: £40k - £45k
  • 4x4 with fuel card (Ranger - Hi-Lux or Car)
  • Fuel Card
  • Membership of pension scheme, critical illness and life assurance
  • 28 days inclusive of bank holidays
  • Company life assurance & critical Illness scheme
  • Auto enrolment 5% staff contribution, 3% employer contribution
  • First class training package in relation to this specific industry, and development training
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and continually improve comprehensive health and safety programs, policies, and procedures specific to utilities, telecommunications, and civil engineering projects.
  • Stay current with and ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal health and safety regulations, standards, and guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and hazard analyses for all projects within these industries, identifying potential safety issues and providing solutions.
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs to employees and subcontractors, ensuring a high level of safety awareness and competence.
  • Lead investigations and report on safety incidents, accidents, near misses, and injuries, implementing corrective actions and preventative measures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in utilities, telecommunications, or civil engineering health and safety.
  • Professional certifications in safety management
  • Strong knowledge of industry-specific safety standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to influence and engage cross-functional teams to achieve safety objectives.
  • Proficiency in safety software and reporting tools.
