Bookkeeping / Accounts Preparation AssistantCompany:Lincoln Brown & Co Ltd is a Chartered Certified Accountants practice based in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire. We are proud to have been providing accountancy, taxation and business advisory services to a wide range of business and private clients for over 35 years.Areas of Responsibility:We are looking to recruit a Bookkeeper/Accounts Preparation Assistant with Payroll experience to help the Client Managers in completing client bookkeeping, VAT return preparation and accounts preparation.This will include bank reconciliations, bookkeeping and accounts preparation, including posting from a trial balance to our accounts package Iris and Sage line 50.This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your experience in a hands-on, fast-paced Accounts role in a friendly and encouraging environment.Qualifications and Experience:The role would suit someone with either experience in public practice or in industry as a bookkeeper or assistant finance manager with experience of VAT and accounts preparation and who is looking to move into public practice. We are an exciting, fast-growingfirm with ambition. There will be genuine opportunities for progression alongside company growth.Experience of XERO accounting Sage 50 payroll is essential.AAT qualifications level 2/3 are advantageous, and the company will provide full training. If the desire is there, the company would be happy to help those that want to further their qualifications.What we are offering: Office based, full time position. 33 days holidays, inclusive of bank holidays and closure at Christmas. Salary is £22-24k per annum.
