Server Engineer - Windows Server 2016/2019, Hyper-V / VMWare - Hull, Humberside - £35,000 plus great benefits inc WFH days!Yorkshire based MSP urgently requires a hands-on Server Engineer with solid experience of Windows Server 2016-2019, Hyper-V or VMWare, Veeam and Commvault to predominantly support the PMO and Service Desk departments with client delivery and also the Pre-Sales Team with proposal designs and the Technology team with the review and implementation of new server technologies and solutions.As a Server Engineer you will be responsible for the creation of server solutions (physical and virtual), implementation and test plans for delivery and network solutions with post implementation support whilst acting as a 3rd Line escalation point for Service Desk incident tickets. You will also work with the Head of Technology to review new server (physical and virtual) / hosting solutions and technologies to both improve and enhance my clients internal solutions as well as client hosted and on-premise solutions. You will be required to take ownership or input to solution designs at all levels (High Level, Low Level and Technical) with a specific speciality in servers, create test plans to ensure required quality of implementations and deployment plans to meet customer requirements and provide relevant levels of risk management.Send your cv in the first instance as a full job details are available.
