Job Description

Job Title: Parts AdvisorSalary: £24,000 - £27,000Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per weekOur client is a premium garage equipment company based in Yorkshire. They are the largest independent garage company in the UK.They have made their mark in the industry and continue to do so.Main Responsibilities:

  • Working as part of a small team, you will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day activities of the Parts department. Main responsibilities:
  • Ship sales orders and engineer parts using FedEx and UPS software.
  • Identify and book returns in using an online portal.
  • Movement and storage of goods using a custom QR code system
  • Accurately record all stock movements
  • Notify relevant personnel of any damaged goods and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction.
  • Pack goods into boxes.
  • Load and unload trucks and vans in line with H&S procedures.
  • Maintain yard and department tidiness/recycle all packaging.
  • Undertake stocktaking activities as directed and keep stock control systems up to date
Skills and Knowledge:
  • Driving licence.
  • A great work ethic.
  • A methodical approach and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work to procedures.
  • PC literate with good administration skills.
  • Physical fitness as manual handling and heavy lifting are integral to the role.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
  • Counterbalance forklift licence would be advantageous.
