Job Description

Finance AssistantEast Yorkshire - £20,000 - £24,000 Chase & Holland are working with a fast-growing business services company in Hull, to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the Commercial Finance Manager in an interesting role within an excitingbusiness and great team.Finance Assistant responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger including matching, batching and coding invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Assist with month end close including preparing prepayments and Accruals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Liaising with both customers and suppliers
  • Sales Ledger, including raising sales orders & invoices
  • Allocating stock & assisting with general stock takes
  • Processing payment runs
  • Assisting with bank and petty cash reconciliations
  • Various adhoc duties required by the Finance department
Required skills & experiences:
  • Experience within a similar all-round accounts role
  • AAT level 2 qualified or actively studying towards AAT
  • Sage 50 experience (preferable but not essential)
  • Strong organisational skills and a real team player
  • Positive can do attitude
