Consortium are pleased to be representing a highly successful, family owned business that are looking to recruit a Buyer. Sourcing all parts and materials, as well as assisting with stores and stock control, this person will be joining a well establishedteam for a company that is recognised nationwide.About the roleAs the buyer, your duties will include:* Ordering materials and parts with suppliers, ensuring the best prices and quality is achieved* Manage the quotes and monitor the order process, ensuring timely dispatch to customers* Monitor stock for quality, reporting discrepancies to the management team* Assist with the picking and dispatching of orders* Ensure all data and records are accurate, raising relevant POs and following invoice queries* Expedite orders due for delivery* Conduct regular stock takes to ensure order fulfilmentAbout youTo be successful in the role, you will need the following attributes:* Previous experience of purchasing within a fast paced environment* Experience of working within engineering, manufacturing or distribution* Excellent communication and negotiation skills* The ability to conduct regular stock takes and assist with dispatch* A flexible working attitude with a team playing mindsetThe package£27,000 salary plus enhanced pension23 days annual leave Relaxed dress codeFree parkingFor more information please contact Hannah on or apply to Consortium Professional Recruitment Ltd are a professional level recruitment consultancy specialising in the delivery of high relevance recruitment services on behalf of our clients across the UK.
