An exciting opportunity for an innovative and experienced Registered Manager to manage a new residential children home in Bromsgrove.Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per yearWe are recruiting for an exceptional therapeutic residential childrens care provider, their ethos focuses on understanding and addressing the underlying needs of our young people rather than their behaviours and difficulties. The home has been created tooffer a warm, open and transparent environment in which the children can express their characters, establish their independence and become maturing young people.The provider believes in small homes to deliver focused care to children with Learning disabilities so a background in caring for children who have suffered some sort of trauma in their early years, such as sexual, physical or emotional abuse or neglectis necessary.The provider has a good Ofsted rating and is looking for a manager to maintain and improve on this rating.Many of the children present with a variety of behavioural problems, such as Conduct and Attachment Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, sexualised behaviour, and special needs such as moderate learning difficulties.This role will allow the successful candidate to have a fundamental role in commissioning the new home and developing the service to deliver outstanding quality.It is the responsibility of the manager to ensure the Home is staffed effectively and all shifts are appropriately covered and therefore they shall be required to work some weekends, evenings, and out of office hours to meet the needs of the services.At all times, the post holder is expected to conduct themselves professionally, to work within the current legislative framework and adhere to Policies and Procedures.The manager will provide excellent levels of care to ensure that our young people have the best possible life chances. You will have an excellent track record in Children’s Services, with the ability to develop outstanding teams and quality systems whichembrace the organisations therapeutic ethos.
