The Bulk Ingredient Department sources ingredients from around the globe for distribution into the majority of the major food and drink manufacturers in the UK as well as a significant volume across Europe.We are an ambitious, inclusive, forward thinking business offering a supportive, friendly, team orientated culture within an excellent, modern office environment. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer focus, interactions, and attention to detail.Due to the rapid expansion of our business, we are seeking an experienced Ingredient Trading Manager to enhance our team, maintain existing as well as developing new accounts, support the expansion and promote the range of ingredients we supply to customers.This is an excellent career development opportunity, involving both UK and overseas travel, sourcing ingredients, liaising with UK and International customers. The successful candidate will be trained the First Grade way, including, but not limited to, a grounding knowledge of the business, customer communications, providing commodity indications, monitoring product forecasts, achieving targets, processing contracts, tracking commodity pricing and liaising with overseas suppliers.You will have a proven record of experience working in a fast-moving Bulk Ingredient Sales environment in food trading. A high level of education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs grades A*- C including Math, English and Science, 3 A Levels grade A*- C or a Level 3 equivalent qualification (or equivalents). A Degree level qualification is desirable. You will possess strong organisational and interpersonal skills including a high standard of verbal and written communication. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel is required.
