We have a great opportunity for a skilled ELECTRICAL SMALL WORKS MANAGER to join an established service provider. The successful candidate will have experience in Maintenance, Installation and Servicing.Package Standard working hours 07:30 - 16:30 Monday - Friday Salary: £60k per annum before tax & deductions Holiday: 22 days + B/H. Long service benefits after the first complete calendar year Car Allowance: £400 PCM before tax & deductions Mobile phone & company laptop Excellent pension On-site parkingAbout the Role Managing a large amount of smaller jobs (up to £10k) simultaneously from initial enquiry to clienthandover Overseeing a wide variety of work from local authority to high end residential, industrial & commercial Assisting and supporting our Administrators with any job-related queries they have. Finalizing NICEIC certificates relating to jobs that have been managed by our Administrators. Acting as acompany Qualifying Supervisor Supporting engineers as required Developing engineers and completing their appraisals Client liaison and attending meetings as required Surveying work ahead of producing quotes Pricing jobs & smaller projects. For many of these there will be no drawings, specifications and limited information. Assess requirements, develop solutions, quote work. Producing job related documents such as RAMS, NICEIC certificates and O&M files Recruitment and management of labour including sub-contractors. You shall have overall responsibility.for building and then managing the Works Department team of engineers Managing cost, understanding of margin and profit Working to monthly financial targets Quality control Health & Safety of engineers Willing and able to complete all administrative tasks associated with your job role (Purchase Orders,Credit Notes invoicing etc.). The role includes Admin support, but a full understanding of all tasks is.important. A willingness to help with anything is essential in our team. Professional telephone manner. Smart appearance.Qualifications and ExperienceDriven with strong attention to detail. Able to work under pressure. You shall need to bring enough work in to keep your men working. Commercial awareness. Financial targets exist with this role. Hitting these is critical to the business. Flexible approach. We have deadlines to meet. This does introduce a need to sometimes work longer.hours or go the extra mile. As a small team we also all help with anything needed.Electrical Small Works Manager Happy to travel to sites (normally not more than 1.5 hours). This travel may be in addition to the normalworking hours Genuinely willing to support all types of work of all sizes (e.g., small works for local authority)About you:The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Electrical Works Manager with a can do attitude. A naturalproblem solver and comfortable making decisions from the outset. Strong communicator, well organized,and driven. Being comfortable with IT is essential. You will be confident and able to see the bigger picture.and companys vision. Team player that can always think outside of the box. Focused on success of thecompany and its financial targets.You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role. You will live up to 45 minutes from our offices.
