Job Description

For more than 200 years, our global Financial Services Client has been helping people around the world connect with what matters most to them. The company is one of the worlds leading financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small and middle-market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services.Location: Remote/BromleyDuration: 6 monthsResponsibilities * Coordinate resources across multiple teams in matrix managed environment; ensure appropriate resources are in place to deliver projects from initiation to completion throughout the full Project Life Cycle.* Manage procurement and all aspects of project financials effectively, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget* Manage and communicate the business impact of Change effectively. Work with Subject Matter Experts and other Key Stakeholders to understand and document the impact any Project Change may introduce. * Conduct Regular and effective Stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure continuous update of status and issues/risks are highlighted in a timely fashion* Manage medium to large complex projects or multiple small projects delivering successful business outcomes* Adherence to project management governance processes with opportunity to participate in project process reviews and influence improvementsRequirements * Proven ability of strong co-ordination, planning and project management skills with 3-5 years solid experience * Perceptive, self-motivated, collaborative and strongly customer-orientated individual * Ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure successful project/programme implementation.* Ability to work under pressure, whilst dealing with conflicting priorities and flexibility* Ability to take the initiative, to progress problems, drive for solutions whilst displaying professionalism and enthusiasm * Ability to tailor approach accordingly and effectively communicate with customers, peers and all levels of management.* A good understanding of one or more of the following technology areas: Midrange Server Technologies, Storage, Backup, Network, Database.
