Job Description

Sponsorship/Sales/£25,000-£30,000/uncapped commission/Kent/Bromley/B2B/eventsThis is a privately owned B2B publishers that also produces events that enjoy an enviable reputation in their marketplace. Their offices are within easy reach of public transport - both train and bus and within a 10 minute walk, off-street parking.They are passionate about what they do and they choose to only employ nice, hardworking people who want to have a voice within their organisation.A bit about the role:The role of SPONSORSHIP SALES EXECUTIVE will be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue for one of their divisions. Currently there are 5 very successful, highly reputable events in London and the USA and they are looking to expand this portfolio internationally.What will you be doingAchieve and exceed agreed revenue targets for each event

  • Negotiate multi-event sponsorship packages wherever possible
  • Build exceptional relationships with key decision makers to protect future revenue gains
  • Identify and maintain a realistic pipeline of key prospects and keep detailed records on their CRM
  • Work independently to research a regular stream of new business
  • Work collaboratively, negotiate confidently
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Accurate reporting and forecasting
  • What do you need to be successful in this roleA minimum of 2 years` sales experience in a B2B environment - Conference/Event sponsorship sales experience is preferred
  • Ideally, degree educated but GCSE Maths and English Grade B or above is essential
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious - motivated by personal success and money
  • Self-sufficient and entrepreneurial
  • Tenacious, enthusiastic, self-confident
