Job Description

Job Title: Service Desk Manager Location: Bromley, Kent Salary: up to £45,000 DOERequired: Previous SDM experience required.Vertex IT Solutions is working with a local client currently recruiting for a "Service Desk Manager". We are actively looking for someone with prior SDM experience who can hit the ground running. You will be tasked with owning the end-to-end service desk processes, overseeing 100% of all requests/tickets and engaging, mentoring, and developing the SDM team.Core Duties:• Own the end-to-end service desk processes, overseeing 100% of all requests/tickets• Work in partnership with employees to ensure support is always available• Monitor Help Desk practices to ensure SLAs meet and exceed their operational needs• Establish KPIs, standard and procedures for the Service Desk Team• Resolve complex and contentious issues in a timely and professional manner• Demonstrate all systems and web-based products to existing and new employees• Be responsible for the management and development of staff• Be actively involved in one to one and/or group training/familiarisation sessions.Skills required:• Technical oversight / lead for the Service Desk

  • Experienced in managing team capacity and workload
  • • MS Win Server OS Win 2016/2019• Experience architecting, administrating and supporting O365 products• Extremely User/customer focused• Manage and monitor Office 365 services and desktop support• Microsoft Endpoint Manager InTune• Maintain inventory of equipment and software licenses.• ITSM Ticketing System• Excellent communication skills at all levelsTo find out more please get in touch.
