Job Description

Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Senior Social Worker to join a busy Adult Safeguarding Team based in Bromley.Benefits of the role:

Your main responsibilities as a Social Worker:We are looking for a senior social worker with a relevant qualification and experience to be involved in the delivery of our statutory safeguarding duties to a high standard. They will work under the direction of skilled and experienced Senior Practitionersto undertake safeguarding enquiries on behalf of the Local Authority. They will work in collaboration with colleagues from other agencies (e.g. Health, Police, CQC and Commissioning).Be the SAM and Enquiry Officer allocated to specific safeguarding concerns and enquiries which require Social Work capability within the parameters of the Directorate’s agreed policies and procedures. Pro-actively work towards the timely resolution, recordingand closure of safeguarding enquiries in line with agreed timescales and team performance frameworks.The SAM will involve ensuring that risks are assessed, and managed and protection plans are put in place so that adults at risk are always appropriately safeguarded. Provide advice on how to intervene proportionately in such situations, ensuring that peopleshuman rights are effectively protected.What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
  • Social Work England registration
  • Eligible to work in the UK
  • Hold a full UK licence
  • Post-qualified experience
  • Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
