Job Description

Job Title: SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: BromleySalary: £85 - £100 per dayStart Date: ASAP, April 2024Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to PermanentAre you Genuinely passionate about improving the lives of children who require special education support SEN Teaching Assistant posts at secondary schools in Bromley are filled by driven and motivated individuals. This is a fantastic opportunity to help create a welcoming, inclusive classroom where pupil are motivated to realize their full potential.Responsibilities as a SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide children in special education the assistance they need.
  • Maintain a friendly and caring environment in the classroom.
  • Promote the usage of customized lesson plans.
  • Assist the teachers to establish a welcoming and stimulating learning environment.
  • Give students specialized assistance when they need it.
  • Keep an eye on developments, document them, and modify support plans as necessary.
Requirements as a SEN Teaching Assistant:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. the ability to modify instruction to meet different needs and demands.
  • A strong sense of empathy and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children.
  • Preferential training or certifications in special education.
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service.
  • A track record of successfully meeting the special education requirements of young children.
