Job Description

I am seeking a Management Accountant to join a well-established and thriving organisation located in Bromley.Client DetailsOur client is a well-established organisation, boasting an impressive team. They have a fantastic reputation within the industry and looking to continue their growth into 2024 and beyond.Description

  • In consultation with the Financial Controller, review financial systems and controls with a key focus on increasing the efficiency of the financial processes.
  • Assist in the improvement of financial reporting and analysis for all parts of the business
  • Preparation of monthly financial results and KPIs
  • Ownership of the month end process, including journal preparation and posting
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure financial and audit requirements are met
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and other regulatory requirements as required
  • Support the FC in maintaining and strengthening internal controls via development and documentation of business processes and financial policies
  • Provide support and guidance to members of the finance team and overseeing team capacity and capability
  • Support the FC in other ad-hoc projects/business needs as and when necessary
ProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:
  • ACCA/CIMA (Or equivalent) qualification, or QBE
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively lead a team
  • Driven and ambitious individual
  • Strong communicator, with the ability and develop and maintain relationships with all stakeholders
