Job Description

Legal SecretaryFamily Law Bromley OR Crystal PalaceMy client are a long-standing and well-established law firm that offers a wide range of services to businesses and individuals from its South London offices. They are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity has arisen for a legal secretary to join theirfamily law team to support its Head of Department.The RoleMy client Solicitor/Partner and Head of Department is looking to recruit a legal secretary/typist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with all levels of experience. This role could be remote or based in one of their SouthLondon offices.

  • General secretarial and administration support
  • Typing letters and general correspondence to include preparation of various documents/court bundles
  • Answering incoming calls, dealing with enquires, and arranging appointments
  • Updating case management systems
Knowledge, skills, and experience
  • Excellent keyboard/typing skills including audio typing using BigHand digital dictation systems
  • Superb organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work in a busy environment
  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential
  • Experience working within a case management system is desirable, but not essential
