Priding themselves on offering a service that prevents failure whilst looking to eliminate potential damages as quickly and safely as possible.Are you a HV/LV Installation & Maintenance Engineer and looking to become part of a team who will invest in your training and developmentYou will be based in the Southeast with occasional nationwide travel.Your responsibilities as a HV/LV Installation & Maintenance Engineer will include:* Demonstrate a good working knowledge of high & low voltage systems inc Transformers, switchgear, cables, protection relays, telecontrol systems, wiring and schematic diagrams* Conducting electrical testing to diagnose electrical faults* Using engineering software and interfaces for manufacturer test equipment.* Using blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturers installation manuals to complete projects.* Establishing and enforcing construction, manufacturing, and installation standards.* Overseeing maintenance, inspection, and system upgrade works.* Collaborating with approved sub-contractors, site managers, clients, and other professionals.* Writing site reports, recording defects, and presenting information to clients and management.* Ensuring that electrical systems adhere to the national electrical safety standards and regulations.* Supervising ongoing electrical system installations and providing technical expertise to installation teams where needed.* Work professionally within IDNO/Industrial/Manufacturing and Critical environmentsExperience required for the HV/LV Installation & Maintenance Engineer:* Hold C&G Level 2 and/or 3 qualifications in Electrical installation/testing* Hold an 18th Edition IET wiring regulations BS 7671 qualification* Have a current ECS gold card* Previous experience of working on DNO/IDNO or private networks preferable* Participate in our OOH call out rota because we operate a 24/7, emergency callout service* Strong knowledge of general plant and equipment design, construction & operation* A proven track record in the electrical contracting industry either as an Engineer or Supervisor with supervisory experience in a practical environmentAs well as enjoying a competitive salary, you will be rewarded with 25 days holiday, pension, and company benefits.
