Job Description

Project ManagerHealth and Social CareLocation: London Borough Bromley. Home based but with need to travel regularly to various sites within the Borough. Salary: £38,000.00paHours: 38 hours per weekContract: Fixed term post of 1 yearBenefits:

Purpose of the post: To represent Ambient Support working in close partnership with the Clinical Commissioning Group, Local Authority and other key partners to deliver a mental health transformation programme. This will include, a programme of remodelingand redesign of Ambients current accommodation/service portfolio.Our Project Managers duties will be to:
  • Be the organisational Lead and representative as part of the Transformation core project team and have a clear role and expectations within this team.
  • Build strong relationships with all stakeholders (internally and externally) including project partners, service Managers, staff and service users.
  • To Identify a clear work plan with clear, measurable targets to track the projects progress and outcomes within agreed timescales.
  • Carry out a programme of service and individual reassessments within an agreed timescale.
  • Regular written, verbal reporting and presentation of project progress, potential changes to plan, issues, risks, exceptions etc.
  • Required to carry out impact assessment on options in relation to budgets, staff and other resources, timetables, and quality of outcomes.
  • Manage and track project resources including supervision of colleagues in the delivery of project monitoring of spend and tracking potential savings within projects.
  • Manage budgets as delegated by senior management.
  • To ensure the timely and accurate production of project status reports for senior management as required.
Our Project Manager will need:
  • Degree or relevant experience or training
  • A recognised Project Management qualification such as Prince 2 or equivalent.
  • ECDL Certificate or Equivalent Microsoft Office Competency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience of project management and Improvement techniques
  • Proven ability to manage projects and resources
  • Experience of working within the health and social care sector providing a wide range of services.
  • Good working knowledge of health and social care services and in particular mental health.
  • Experience of building/managing a number of stakeholder relationships.
  • Good working knowledge of the Care Quality Commission.
