Job Description

Annual salary: up to £60,000.00 Head of Business ImprovementEalingFull Time, Permanent Salary up to £55,000 per annum plus £4,800 car allowance“A desire to make a positive difference wherever we operate has always been at the heart of our business. It was 30 years ago when we were a small maintenance contractor with a single van; and it still is now we are a truly national company”.About the Role:Due to an exciting recent contract award, we are looking to recruit a Head of Business Improvement to work within the Pyramid Plus branch. Pyramid Plus is a Joint Venture contract with our partner, a2Dominion, delivering repairs, void, electrical servicingand planned works within a stock size of over 39,000 homes. This is a new role that is aligned to Mears Ltd, working full time in the Pyramid Plus branch office.As Head of Business Improvement, you will utilise enhanced reporting, project management and operational implementation skill sets to develop our branch operations across a programme of continuous improvement. This spans over a number of areas, with examplesincluding operational process improvements (developed in collaboration with A2Dominon), IT developments/ change management and material /van stock profiling. The role is based from our current co-located office in Ealing, but will require occasional travelbetween different locations within the M25: the properties we maintain within this contract cover a large geographical area and span the M4 corridor, Hampshire area and across London.Role Criteria:

  • Background or experience in Social Housing maintenance services desirable.
  • Ability to develop, lead and implement complex projects across a range of business areas including data analytics, IT and supply chain.
  • Ability to analyse complex data from multiple sources and make clear evidence-based recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills to engage with internal colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate effectively & consistently across a variety of contracts and articulate information to all organisational levels.
  • Ability to plan and organise workloads to meet targets & deadlines.
  • Highly organised, with a methodological, systematic, structured and logical approach.
  • Good team player with the ability to galvanise and challenge.
