Job Description

Full Stack Developer / Solutions & App DeveloperPetts Wood, Bromley, Kent (2/3 days a week in office)Salary Starting from £35k-£65k+ DoE (bonuses, share options etc. available)TalentSpa Ltd is seeking a highly motivated full-stack developer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and proactive individual with the potential to become our future CTO. We are an equal opportunities employer and welcomeapplicants from diverse backgrounds.As we are currently building three exciting software solutions, the successful candidate will have a broad range of technical skills and be comfortable working across the entire software development stack, from front-end development to server-side programming.Our offices are based in Petts Wood, but we offer a hybrid work-from-home arrangement for a flexible and supportive work environment.Key Responsibilities:

  • Design spec and build at least 3 new applications from scratch
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Develop and implement new software features, while optimising existing code
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex technical problems
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth and development of the team
  • In time, build a remote development team as requirements increase
Qualifications ChatGPT told us we should be looking for, but in all honesty we need you to tell us what is going to work best for our applications and solutions:
  • Strong proficiency in multiple programming languages, including but not limited to JavaScript, React, Node.js, and Python
  • Experience with database design, development and management (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Strong understanding of modern front-end development tools and frameworks (e.g. React, Vue.js, Angular)
  • Good understanding of RESTful API design and development
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices, including continuous integration and deployment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
