Social workers in leaving care have a mixed case load of children looked after and some young adults with complex need. The Leaving Care Service sit alongside Children Looked After, Active Involvement and Commissioning teams in one service.As a Social worker you must have a degree in Social work with a minimum 2 years post qualifying experience and passed your AYSE, experience in an NHS Establishment or a local authority is desirable.To act in accordance with SWE registration requirements and Code of Conduct for exercising accountability and professional practice. To provide professional Social work assessments to support the commissioning process in line with care management and continuing care.Employers will be keen to see that you have a friendly and caring attitude, and understand and respect people who need healthcare support.Previous experience and/or qualifications in Social work are essential to apply for this role.We also supply the following to both NHS and private sector.
