Job Description

We are looking for a fun, friendly sports coach who is full of energy, professional and loves working with children.We are looking for someone who shares our passion, our drive and our values.We pride ourselves on delivering elite, high energy, fun and engaging sports sessions to children aged 2 - 12 years.We feel passionately that every child should be able to have fun and learn within a safe, welcoming and friendly environment.We work in the following areas and surrounding -Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Bromley, Beckenham, Gravesend, Biggin Hill.The Role:

  • To plan and deliver high quality, fun sports sessions in schools and nurseries
  • To engage all children in an energetic way, ensuring they leave having loved the session
  • To take the register and dismiss children at the end of the session
  • To liaise effectively with other staff members and parents in a respectful, professional manner to ensure the smooth running of the session
  • To deal with behaviour in a friendly way and inline with our policies and procedures
  • To create a safe, caring and welcoming environment for all children to enjoy sports
  • Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure
  • Working within the framework of the companys policies and procedures
  • You will need to travel from one setting to another
  • Initially this role will be a self employed position
Days / Hours: We have hours available Monday - Friday, Part and Full timePay: Pay is open to discussion dependent on experience and skill setRequired Skills:Whilst we do not require a specific degree, candidates must have the following:
  • Experience of working with / delivering sports sessions to groups of children from the age of 2 years
  • Enjoy being around children
  • A positive, cheerful can do attitude
  • Be able to take initiative
  • Be able to work well within a team
  • Be friendly, approachable and fun
  • Enjoy sports and being active in all weathers
  • Be reliable
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • Want to make a difference to a childs day
  • Be a positive role model

  • Sound judgement and common sense
  • Understanding the varied needs of children and their families
  • Understanding the issues of equal opportunities
  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Feel comfortable delivering a wide variety of sports sessions
  • A good imagination
  • The ability to make children laugh, interact with each other and get children engaged in the session
  • A full driving licence and use of a car is essential
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
