Job Description

Vacancy Close Date: Sunday 11th October 2020Russell & Bromley is a retailer specialising in luxury shoes and accessories for women, men and children with 40 stores and an online presence. We have an opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to join the IT team to cover an 18 month maternity break for the post holder starting at the beginning of November 2020.Our change function has developed significantly over the past 18 months and now plays a key role in supporting and driving the business to change and adopt new ways of working. The team proactively capture and evolve current ways of working, considering technical change opportunities and find solutions before R&B teams need them.Working closely with colleagues in IT, you will have a crucial role in the successful delivery and adoption of projects across the whole of R&B driving fast user engagement and minimising resistance, improving business processes, and engaging with stakeholders across the organisation. The Change Manager is also responsible for the facilitation and governance of change management strategies and processes, including the analysis, Quality Assurance, management of change, benefit realisation and ROI.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the change management approach across R&B, applying methodologies and tools to support fast adoption, making complex change easy for colleagues and stakeholders
  • Own change practices ensuring that changes are deployed in an effective and timely manner, meeting organisational expectations
  • Oversee and lead projects, assuring readiness to change, identifying and tacking key benefits and follow-up activities to ensure changes are embedded
  • Integrate change management activities into project plans
  • Ensure that change management efforts are focused upon achieving the identified benefits
  • Ensuring changes are risk and impact assessed
  • Translating technical implementations into understandable and consumable insights for non-technical teams
  • Identifying opportunities to improve ways of working to drive efficiency, productivity, improved sales and customer and employee experience
  • Supporting change communications across the business; leading communications on smaller projects
  • Supporting the change agents and early adopters across the business
  • Training on change projects as they are rolled out to the business
  • Work with the IT team across the business to identify opportunities for improvement in conjunction with users and platform/ application owners
  • Guide internal and external project managers to deliver activities on time and budget
  • Responsible for managing, training and providing direction to our Change Analyst(s)
  • Collaborating with the IT team to design, build and implement effective agile change management

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, DevOps, Microsoft point of sale, Teams and SharePoint would be advantageous
