Job Title: BookkeeperSalary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annumWe are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial record-keeping, payroll processing, and financial software applications.Key Responsibilities:• Maintain and update financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.• Process payroll on a regular basis and manage employee financial records.• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information.• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing reports, and advising management on needed actions.Key Skills and Qualifications:• Proven bookkeeping experience.• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles.• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.• Knowledge of payroll processing and related tax procedures.• AAT qualification or equivalent is desirable.If you are a reliable professional with broad knowledge of all accounting and financial processes, we would like to meet you.
