Job Description

As an Automation Tester you will be part of the Quality Assurance team and your primary purpose will be to test technical solutions to support business processes and support updates to existing solutions.You will take responsibility for creating an automation framework and provide guidance to other team members on using and maintaining this framework. You will also participate in a continuous improvement process for the testing functionThe role and responsibilities of the Automation Tester:

  • Creating an automation framework using Selenium WebDriver
  • Creating test plans, test suites and test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications
  • Providing test estimates for completion of System and System Integration Testing on projects
  • Developing and updating automated test scripts to match requirements
  • UX/UI testing
  • Regression testing
  • Documenting test results, and compiling results into consolidated high-level reports
    • Skills and experience required to be a successful Automation Tester:Essential
  • 3+ years’ experience as an Automation Tester (or similar)
  • Strong background in Manual Testing
  • ISTQB qualified
  • Proven history in creating and maintaining an Automation framework using modern test frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver
  • C#, JavaScript and SQL
  • Full Stack Testing using Selenium WebDriver (or similar) for Front End and Postman (or similar) for Back End API Testing.
    • Desirable
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile (SCRUM / Kanban)
  • Knowledge of multiple test frameworks and solutions to manage complexity
  • Automated testing using Azure Dev Ops Pipelines
  • Experience in testing Identity Server – Oauth2/ Open ID would be beneficial
  • Experience in Integration Testing
  • Experience in Performance Testing
