Job Description

Confirmed Hiring During Covid - 19Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician required in East Kent (salary negotiable dependent on experience, plus great company benefits and opportunities for career progression and funded qualifications) The successful candidate will support the Quality Assurance function in the testing and validation of Finished Products, Semi Manufactured Intermediates and Raw Materials, across both Analogue and Digital technologies.Our client is a global manufacturing company who are world leaders in their field.As part of their plans to grow the department, they are now looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Laboratory Technician to join a friendly and experienced team.The role:Continuous improvement is key in QA so you will be involved in LEAN plant efficiency programs, problem analysis tasks and raw material evaluations, as well as the tasks required in the day to day operation of the QA laboratories such as accurately measuring and recording a variety of physical property tests to a controlled instruction procedure.Training will be provided in all areas of QA including the processing and investigation of customer complaints, Plant Support project work and Quality Compliance testing. The department operate a number of different working patterns, including shift work, so a flexible approach is required if hours need to be adjusted to suit the needs of the business.The Ideally, applicants should have a minimum of GCSE Maths, English and Science. Additionally, you should be IT literate with a competent working knowledge of Excel. Enthusiastic, dynamic and practically minded, you will show good attention to detail and be willing to learn.
