Yard Marshall / Vehicle InspectorAvonmouthMonday – Friday18:00 - 02:00Competitive hourly rate of pay - £13.78Our client are a market leader in the logistics and supply chain sectors, operating from an FMCG Distribution Centre in Avonmouth.They have an immediate need for a Yard Marshall / Vehicle Inspector to join their team in Avonmouth, working on an ongoing basis.The role involves working outside in all weather conditions, checking the HGV vehicles as they return to the depot. You will check the coolant levels within these refrigerated, arctic lorries, ensuring that the Drivers are advised of all remedial action required. You will also visually check the lorries for any noticeable defects and raise any concerns with the Drivers. You will also be responsible for allocating parking and ensuring that the yard is maintained to a hight standard.Candidates should have experience of working with HGV Vehicles be familiar with how a refrigerated lorry operates.An immediate start is available for the successful candidate, offering a competitive rate of pay.
