Were looking for a UX Designer to join a not-for-profit team supporting the education sector. Believers in Technology for Good they improve lives through learning and research.What youll be doingYoull be joining a centralised UX team and working alongside several other UX designers, reporting into an experienced Lead. In the current structure the UX Design role is that of a generalist, conducting research, facilitating design as well as producinglo-fi and hi-fi work for delivery. Naturally most designers in the team are T shaped with an area of expertise but good broad experience in the whole design process. The UX maturity of the team is emergent and working towards structured.As part of the UX team youll play a role in helping to raise the profile of UX, educate others and engage a wide variety of stakeholders in the design process. Youll be working in Agile design and development with a wider team of tech, project, product anddelivery experts.The team is growing so were open to midweight and senior applications for this role.What experience youll need
  • Previous experience in a UX role thats involved conducting user research and testing.
  • Evidence youve used insight to improve design across digital touchpoints.
  • Have worked with design systems, pattern libraries and/or style guides
  • Preferably have worked across complex, data oriented user interfaces and visualisation tools.
  • Passionate about user centricity, great at communicating the value to people from all backgrounds.
  • Have worked in agile, cross functional teams.
  • A good understanding of WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Any degree in design, UX, psychology or other research based field desirable but not essential.
