An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced counsellor to join this existing team of counsellors working remotely to support cancer patients being treated by their partner, in 14 centres across England. Within this partnership they are committedto using a whole person approach in assessing and supporting patients. They acknowledge that cancer treatment can affect all aspects of a person - body, mind, spirit, and emotions.Job Title: Treatment Support Counsellor (Remote Worker)Ref: TSC429Contract: PermanentHours: Part time (14 hours per week)Salary: £29,000 - £31,000 dependent upon experience (pro rata)Location: Based at homeBenefits: 30 days holiday pro rata plus 8 bank holidays pro-rataThis role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to establish effective rapport and deliver therapeutic interventions via telephone or video link.
