Job Description

Company DescriptionCulina Logistics is the leading 3rd party UK logistics business specialising in chilled warehousing providing an excellent platform for food and drink manufactures.We currently have two openings for a Transport Operations Support on a full time, permanent basis at our Avonmouth n. Bristol depot.Shifts Available:

  • 5 on 2 off Permanents Nights 1900 - 03.30 holiday cover - a high degree of flexibility will be required in this role to meet operational needs.
Job DescriptionAs a Transport Operations Support your will be responsible for:
  • Correctly debriefing drivers
  • Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly
  • Scanning and storing PODs using Culinas document management system
  • Preparing drivers wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information
  • Printing all despatch notes and replenishing despatch paper as required
  • Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries
  • Downloading drivers cards / tachographs
  • Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services
  • Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets
  • Departing loads using Transport Management System (TMS)
  • Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads

  • Able to work as part of a team or individually
  • Able to work effectively and communicate to the correct level
