I have a brand new role for a Software Tester/ Qa Test Engineer to join my client, Youll get to be 100% remote (they dont have a physical office anymore) with a couple of team catchups/socials a year around the South of England of which all expenses arecovered.Founded in 2018 they are now 55 people strong with big expansion planned. They develop a platform that allows people to top up their pension pots via salary sacrifice on top of their usual ompany pension contribution. This allows people to play catchup forthe future and retirement and offers tax free savings to both themselves and NI savings to their employers, a win win for everyone! They have a really exciting roadmap with lots planned as well as well as plans to become a one stop financial wellbeing platformfor companies. They work closely alongside their sister company that offers a employee benefits platform (that already has a qa team) and together they are at a really exciting time in their journey.They have a team of soon to be 6 developers and are in the process of redeveloping their platform to be React based with node.js and NoSQL on the back end.They are now looking for a QA/ Tester to initially join as their sole QA for their product. They dont have a huge amount of process in place across their web based platform in regards to testing and would love someone to come in and help them get more processesset up. Youll be involved in functional, exploratory & regression testing and whilst the initial need is to get a proper manual strategy in place, they are also open to automation further down the line if this is something you happened to have skills/ aninterest in (otherwise they will look to hire a separate automation tester). There is also the opportunity to potentially move into more of a lead role as the team starts to grow in the future if this is something that appeals.Their ideal person will be a solid manual tester who is comfortable taking ownership of their testing across their web based platform as the sole qa initially. Salary is up to £40,000 plus bonus onm top, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays on top and theoption to purchase up to 5 additional days, Income protection, Life Insurance, enhanced maternity and paternity pay as well as a range of other wellbeing benefits.
