Job Description

TEMP UNDERWRITING PROCESSING ADMINISTRATOR - BRISTOL - £23K - £27K WITH HYBRID WORKINGMy client is a leading name within general insurance and they are currently recruiting for a TempUnderwriting Processing Administrator to join their team in Bristol on a six months fixed term contract.The Underwriting Processing Administrator will be primarily responsible for :

  • Gaining updates from solicitors on the progress of ATE cases and monitoring cases through to the collection of the premium.
  • Reconciling the collected cash against both ATE and BTE policies and premiums concerned and resolving/escalating all instances of incorrect payment.
  • Working closely with various internal departments and solicitor and broker business partners to gather the information required to process information and cash received accurately.
What I am looking for:You will have great communication, organisation and time-management skills, an eye for detail and be comfortable working with numbers and IT systems. You should also have an interest in developing your skills and knowledge in the insurance field. In regardsto qualifications and experience, you will have a good level of education and have at least 1 years experience in a relevent role. You will need have to possess proven telephone skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel.You may also have experience and/or understanding of credit control, telephony-based work, the Legal Expenses Insurance industry and the solicitor or insurance broker marketplaces, or you might have a basic insurance, legal or accountancy qualification.You will enjoy some excellent company benefits in addition, which include the option to work from home for 3 days per week.
