Job Description

LEGAL TECHNOLOGY INNOVATION SPECIALISTBristol - hybrid working available£60,000 - £70,000 + excellent company benefitsThe CompanyWere seeking a Technology Innovation Specialist to join a dynamic and growing Innovation Team designing and successfully introducing innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance and improve client service delivery. This independent regional UKlaw firm is known for its highly effective solutions to clients complex needs within selected markets which include the largest public and private sector organisations, SMEs and high net worth individuals.Key Responsibilities of the Technology Innovation Specialist

  • Working in the innovation team and leading on the management and delivery of client service delivery and client collaboration projects
  • Obtain, understand and analyse lawyer and client requirements and translate those into tools and design solutions
  • Provide legal technology consultancy advice to client and legal teams to design and implement legal technology solutions
  • Be a subject matter expert in key enabling technologies and communicate technical capabilities and applications
  • Support and encourage the development of other team members
  • Involvement in product and solution development including scoping and testing new products
  • Provide insights on legal market and technology trends
Skills & Attributes of the Technology Innovation Specialist
  • Experience working with and knowledge of legal tech tools such as document automation, machine learning/AI, no code platforms and using legal tech solutions such as HighQ, Contract Express, Luminance, Docusign
  • Good knowledge of how legal work is delivered and the use of legal technology, preferably some previous legal technology/consultancy experience.
  • Strong client facing or consultancy experience together with excellent communication and presentation skills with a professional approach to clients
  • Ability to support and lead workshops with clients and internal teams to gain a deep understanding of existing processes
