Job Description

Technical Publications Manager Duration: Contract till the end of May 2022 with high chance of extension till end of the yearLocation: BristolPay: NegotiablePlease Note: Security Clearance is requiredThe RoleOur client is in the defence industry and this Role resides within the Integration Logistics Support team and is responsible for the suite of Technical Publications.Responsibilities

  • Army Equipment Support Publications (AESPs) on Technical Documents On-line (TDOL) reviewed and updated
  • Produce, update Defence Information Notes (DINs) as required.
  • Work with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to update or create the Interactive Electronic Technical Publication (IETPs).
  • Review Unsatisfactory Fault Reports (UFRs) and make amendments to the required publications.
  • Project meetings
  • Monthly Supportability Engineering Forum (SEF)
  • Liaise with internal technical project managers and suppliers to ensure the Technical Publications Programme is delivered to schedule.
  • Ensure coherence and consistency across the suite of technical Publications
  • Provide support to the In-Service and wider Delivery Team.
  • Review, amend and upload all controlled AESPs to TDOL.
  • Act as single point of contact for all In-Service DINs, liaising with the Supply teams and technical project managers to write DINs and staff through to publication.
  • IETP work with OEMs which involves UFRs, text changes, amendments in support of quarterly updates ensuring the modules are correct and up to date.
