Tax Semi Senior Accountant Job VacancyDo you have experience in R&D tax and would like the opportunity to join a firm who will support you to achieve your CTA qualification Or perhaps youre already qualified and looking for a new challengeIf youre self-motivated, have an interest in software and/or engineering and looking to work for a leading accountancy practice that always strives to deliver excellence, this remote working Tax Semi Senior Accountant job could be for you. Though youllneed to be able to travel to complete field work, theres the potential to work remotely in this role or you can opt to work from any of the firms major national offices.Youll need a good knowledge of accounting software and will be detail focused, as well as being a strong communicator with the ability to build trusted relationships with clients. Youll be a self-starter and excited to make an immediate impact supportingthe senior members of the team with R&D and tax computations.This Tax Semi Senior Accountant job will suit someone who is self-motivated and eager to be a key part of the firm and benefit from study support and onward professional development with a mindful employer.Job Purpose

  • Support the senior team with R&D tax computations and advice for a varied range of clients.
  • Preparing and submitting R&D reports to HMRC.
  • Confidently liaise with clients, supporting with queries and building trusted relationships.
  • Database management.
  • Working closely with senior team members, handling duties as required.

Job Requirements
  • Experience across general accountancy services.
  • At least 1 year of experience in R&D tax.
  • An interest in engineering and/or software is desirable.
  • A can-do attitude to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to meet deadlines.
  • Able to bring out the best in others and work as part of a dedicated team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
